Terms & Conditions
Terms governing the use of our services
Overview
These Terms and Conditions apply to all services provided by Foot-Doctor, including consultations, second opinions, investigations, and treatments.
By booking an appointment or using our services, you agree to these Terms and Conditions.
2. Nature of Services
Foot-Doctor provides a range of services, including:
- Initial consultations (virtual or face-to-face)
- Second opinion consultations
- Diagnostic and advisory services
- Non-surgical and surgical treatment pathways
Not all services constitute ongoing clinical care.
Second opinion consultations are provided as standalone assessments and do not establish an ongoing treating relationship unless explicitly agreed.
3. Patient Responsibility
You are responsible for:
- Providing accurate and complete information about your medical history
- Sharing relevant investigations, imaging, and previous reports
- Following clinical advice where appropriate
Clinical recommendations are based on the information provided. Incomplete or inaccurate information may affect outcomes.
4. Clinical Decision-Making
All clinical decisions are made by a qualified clinician.
Where digital tools or structured assessments are used, these support — but do not replace — clinical judgement.
5. Consent
All treatments and procedures require informed consent.
By proceeding with a consultation or treatment, you confirm that:
- You understand the nature, risks, and benefits of the proposed care
- You have had the opportunity to ask questions
- You agree to proceed
6. Appointments and Access to Care
Appointments may be delivered:
- Virtually (telephone or video consultation)
- Face-to-face (where clinically required)
If a face-to-face assessment or further investigation is required following a virtual consultation, this will be arranged separately and may incur additional fees.
7. Private Hospital Treatment and Surgical Procedures
Where surgical procedures are required, these may be carried out in an independent private hospital where the clinician holds practising privileges.
In these cases:
- The hospital or clinic is a separate legal entity responsible for its own facilities, staffing, and governance
- Fees charged by the hospital (including theatre, anaesthesia, and inpatient care) are separate from Foot-Doctor fees
- Fees charged by the hospital (including theatre, anaesthesia, and inpatient care) are separate from Foot-Doctor fees
Foot-Doctor is responsible for the clinical care provided directly by the clinician, but not for services delivered by third-party organisations.
Further details regarding hospital fees and arrangements will be provided prior to any procedure.
8. Injection and Non-Surgical Treatments
Foot-Doctor provides a range of non-surgical treatments, including injection therapies and regenerative procedures.
These treatments:
- Foot-Doctor provides a range of non-surgical treatments, including injection therapies and regenerative procedures.
- Are performed based on clinical assessment and individual suitability
- May require follow-up or staged treatment plans
All treatments are provided with informed consent, and outcomes may vary between individuals.
9. Fees and Payment
- Fees are provided in advance where possible
- Payment is required prior to consultation or treatment unless otherwise agreed
- Additional investigations, imaging, or treatments are charged separately unless explicitly included
Where care involves third-party providers (such as private hospitals, imaging centres, or other specialists), separate fees may apply and will be payable directly to those providers.
We do not provide credit facilities.
10. Cancellation Policy
- At least 24 hours’ notice is required to cancel or reschedule an appointment
- Cancellations with less than 24 hours’ notice may be charged in full
- Failure to attend an appointment without notice will be charged in full
We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule appointments where necessary.
11. Second Opinions
Second opinion consultations:
- Are advisory in nature
- Do not replace your existing treating clinician
- Do not include ongoing follow-up unless separately arranged
Any further care or investigation following a second opinion is not included unless explicitly agreed.
12. Onward Referral and Integrated Care
Where appropriate, patients may be referred for further assessment or treatment within associated services, including Beatha Health.
Beatha Health operates as a separate entity and may provide additional or complementary services.
Any referral:
- Will be based on clinical judgement and patient need
- Will be discussed with you prior to proceeding
- Does not obligate you to proceed with further treatment
Separate terms, fees, and arrangements may apply for services provided outside of Foot-Doctor.
13. Outcomes
While we aim to provide the highest standard of care, outcomes cannot be guaranteed.
Individual results may vary depending on multiple factors, including underlying condition, compliance with treatment, and biological variation.
14. Complaints
If you have a concern about your care, please contact us directly in the first instance so we can attempt to resolve the issue promptly.
If you are not satisfied with our response, you may escalate your complaint to the relevant regulatory or independent healthcare body, depending on the nature of your care.
15. Confidentiality
All patient information is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
16. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to update these Terms and Conditions at any time.
The latest version will always be available on our website.
