Lateral Ligament Repair

Traditionally, repair of the lateral ligaments, the structures most commonly damaged in a bad ankle sprain, depends upon allowing enough time for the ligaments to heal.

The advantage of the ‘Internal Brace’ is that it provides a scafolding and stability to the ankle, whilst the ligaments heal.

This allows the patient to start their reahabilitiaion almost immediately, which ultimately means a much quicker return to normal activity.
